As I remember (not that I was there, mind you) the original Royal Rooters used this song to taunt Honus Wagner (“Honus, why do you hit so badly…”) Andrew McCutchen wants a crack at the Red Sox so he can see them try to pull that noise on him.
That would be quite impressive if you were there to see it 😉 I imagine it would be quite the ego boost to knock a homer in another club’s ballpark while their fans attempt to rattle you with something like this.
