This day in baseball: Sewell strikes out

During the 1930 season, Indians infielder Joe Sewell struck out a total of three times in 353 at-bats.  Two of those strikeouts came on May 26, 1930, facing Pat Caraway of the White Sox during the second game of a doubleheader.  Nevertheless, Cleveland won the game, 5-2.
