This day in baseball: Kingman is king

On June 4, 1976, Mets outfielder Dave “Sky King” Kingman cranked three home runs to lead New York to an 11-0 victory at Dodger Stadium.  With this performance, Kingman drove in eight runs, thus establishing a new club record.
