Yeah, I kinda wonder how much he really meant this.
i guess baseball and literature as a chemical equation often results in exaggeration, but i was always grateful for this because i never really read any of the classics or read much at all as a kid except for baseball digest and sports illustrated so baseball fans really opened up my mind to just about everything else and still do.
