Love is the most important thing in the world, but baseball is pretty good, too.

Were you able to attend the Field of Dreams 25th anniversary celebration? I made the journey, and although I’m a lousy photographer, I did post some pictures to my website. We watched the movie on the field (is that cool or what?) Friday night and attended Costner’s Dubuque concert Saturday night. Keep up the great work, Precious! 🙂
The link doesn’t appear to be working, but I’ll poke around the site and see if I can find the photos another way. I didn’t make the 25th anniversary celebration, but I do have a trip to the Field of Dreams planned for August. I’ve never actually been in person, so I am definitely looking forward to it!
Sorry, Precious, there appears to be an extra ‘s’ on the end of the URL…drop that ‘s’ and the link should work. Or, look beneath my Home tab for the link to the pics. Glad you’re planning that FOD trip, and your timing is excellent. August is THE best time to go, because that’s when the corn is as high as an elephant’s eye! Every trip I’ve ever made (with the exception of last week) to the field was planned and executed in August, simply for the sheer pleasure of walking and disappearing in the corn. Last week the corn was only about a foot high, and who can disappear in that? 🙂
I hadn’t thought about the height of the corn! That is a good point — I’m really looking forward to disappearing into it now 🙂
