“Take Me Out to the Ball Game,” performed by Buddy Emmons and the Lawton Kicks Jazz Ensemble

Here is a jazzy rendition of the great baseball anthem performed by Buddy Emmons with the Lawton Kicks Jazz Ensemble at Cameron University.  I wish I could play guitar like this….

  1. I’ve never seen people dance to this song, but perhaps this version could actually make that happen.

    1. A lot of people sway, which usually about as close as I ever get to dancing. 😉 But you’re right … I could see some old timey dance steps accompanying this rendition.

  2. There are some days when black and white movies are necessary for my mental health and other days when the Lawrence Welk makes me feel fuzzy inside and now there is the rendition of take me out to the ball game and I haven’t fit it into a category of my moods, not yet anyway, but I will. The slide guitar sound to that song is delicious. It just turned salt into SALT or something like that. I think I like it. (insert smiley face)
