LOVE this quote. Love Satch, too. I did a book report on him when I was in the 6th grade, back in 1967.

Oh, no idea….it was 1968, right after the Impossible Dream year for the Red Sox. I think it was a non-fiction book about baseball history…or maybe it wasn’t a book report. It might have been just a report on Paige himself.
Book or no book, he’d be a fun guy to write about, no doubt about that. 🙂
