What a great quote; a visionary one that hopefully will never stop ringing true, especially with players like Ichiro not getting caught. Once again I raced off to baseball reference and was surprised to see Ichiro further down the list of leaders in SB%. Jayson Werth is fourth all time. Wow… yeah, I would have thought Ichiro would be higher on the list than that too. Base stealing is definitely an art. Very interesting.
