Those damn domes spoil even a Whitman quote..
So true! I’m glad that teams are steering away from them anymore. The retractable roofs I can live with, but the monstrosity that was the Astrodome… good riddance.
I was always a sucker for the Astrodome, probably started with the Bad New Bears second movie and my fascination never ended. The Metrodome was a different story. Drove me a little nuts, but i was probably just jealous from them winning 2 world series and Milwaukee winning not a one.
