“Baseball Nation,” by Tony Lewis

It would be long, exhausting, and expensive, but no doubt it would be very worth it.
I remember seeing one of those motel america guides, cheap motels for the first time.Turned me into a kid at a baseball candy store because it had a map of America. That started it for me. I drew lines around to all the cities with stadiums, calculated the distances and well dammit, I never took the first step. “Nomads on a long migration.” Since I don’t drive, I wonder if it would be possible to walk to every stadium in one spring-summer-fall?
Or see about taking a Greyhound? I hear they’re a bit sketchy, sometimes, but might be worth it, all the same.
