Another thing the Brewers and Royals may have in common is a distaste for the Cardinals, but then again, the pre-Larussa Cards I remember fondly; even the 82 version beating the Brewers and 85 Cards over the Royals. The craze over Denkinger was understandable, but anyway…anyone who loves fishing can’t be that bad. I never had the patience for it; not yet anyway, but I always figured if I could fish for three days and endure all that nothing, I would mark myself down as mentally fit.
I don’t think I could fish for three days either. But yes, if I ever find myself able, it would mean that I’ve finally managed to reign in my pinball machine of a mind.
