That is why I am not a believer or pursuer of ‘opposites attract ‘, the less you have in common with someone, in my experience anyhow, the less hope for harmony and a quality relationship.
Even though Babe was loud, bombastic, a spendthrift and a skirtchaser, I think as a friend I’d prefer him to the dull and Mama’s Boy Gehrig.
I am definitely more of a Gehrig fan myself, though given that my closest friends are far more extroverted than I am, I do think there is truth to the idea that opposites attract.
