Chicks who dig home runs aren’t the ones who appeal to me. I think there’s sexiness in infield hits because they require technique. I’d rather impress the chicks with my technique than with my brute strength. Then, every now and then, just to show I can do that, too, I might flirt a little by hitting one out.

Several years ago — early 2000’s — a friend and I were at a Royals game when Mike Sweeney stole home out of nowhere. I believe it was against the Yankees, too! It was, hands down, the most exciting play I have ever seen as a baseball fan… And to see it in person!
I saw Sweeney hit many home runs over the course of his career, but none of them ever gave me that kind of adrenaline rush. So, for me? A guy who can steal home is a hundred times sexier than watching home runs. 😉
