Congratulations to Ichiro Suzuki, CC Sabathia, and Billy Wagner on their election to the Baseball Hall of Fame! They will be joining Dick Allen and Dave Parker, who were selected to the Hall of Fame by the Classic Era Committee in December 2024. The Induction Ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 27, 2025.
I heard that the one guy who voted against Ichiro is a Yankee fan who wanted to preserve Mariano as the only 100% unanimous vote. Makes sense to me.

Sometimes I wonder if Ichiro is the most unique player of the modern era in his style of play, spraying hits all over the field, so fast, and such a great arm all overshadowed by steroids and home runs.
