Reminds me of the beginning of what’s that great baseball movie called? With Robert De Niro? My memory is getting bad. I’ll look it up. Wait a second. Yes, there it is under De Niro’s IMDB page; from 1973 Bang the Drum Slowly and the pitcher holding out down at spring training; money talk negotiation hold outs and what not. I enjoyed that movie more the 2nd time I seen it. Maybe I’ll watch it a 3rd time.
I’m one of those people who likes to read the book before seeing the movie, and the book is currently sitting on my shelf, still waiting to be cracked open. I need to take a year-long sabbatical from the rest of my life to read all the books on my ever-growing list.
