Congratulations! The Royals earned it and deserved it. I’m still a little hurt over how the Royals soundly steamrolled the Orioles in 2014 … but I can swallow my pride. The Royals were a good team then, they are the best team now. Enjoy it all. (I’ve heard that being #1 is very nice. I don’t know this for certain … but so I am told.) Congrats, Congrats, Congrats! 🙂
Thank you! This #1 thing is definitely a new experience for me when it comes to the Royals, and I must confess, I rather enjoy it. Maybe someday soon the Orioles will bring you the same kind of joy.
In the words of Yogi, “In baseball, you don’t know nothing.” No amount of scouting or analysis can ever truly prepare us for what happens in this game, but it sure is nice when it comes out in our favor 🙂

That is the plan. The parade in Kansas City is tomorrow afternoon, and I am working on being there!
