While I have more of a never say never attitude towards records, all these numbers are impressive, and it is going to take some truly exceptional ballplayers to break these.

Where do they get some of this? Reyes isn’t 2nd in stolen bases and I doubt Ryan has 15 seasons with 30 or more saves.

I didn’t notice the Reyes bit, but that’s clearly incorrect. Not sure where you’re seeing that it lists Ryan under saves, however?
Some clear typos on this thing, though. Pretty sure they meant Randy Johnson is 2nd in *strikeouts* not saves. And Cy Young has most career wins, not hits.
Ah, wait, I think I just found the Ryan thing. I’m not sure? The closest I can find in his stats is 15+ seasons with 30+ starts. Another typo, perhaps.
maybe one day they’ll include japanese stats. i think that would put ichiro over rose.
I think many would agree with you on that one. Would be fun to see.
I think those records look secure but I remember when I was a kid reading an article on records that couldn’t be broken- and I remember one of them was- Gehrig’s consecutive game streak.. you never know… of course if any are to be broken it will be far into the future.
We always have to be careful when using the word “never.”
Fine and dandy, but when do we get the damn flying cars The Jetsons promised us?
We demand answers! The future was supposed to be here by now!
