a DH has more time to think about his last at bat, no playing defense distraction. Gotta get over striking out with the bases loaded. I assume they have punching bags in the clubhouse or there’s always the gatorade bucket to beat up on….flush those emotions back to sea so you can see again.
I love the idea of punching bags in the clubhouse. I mentioned to my supervisor once that we really need a soundproof room with a punching bag and a stereo that plays really loud heavy metal screamy music so that we all have a place to go and release negative energy on the days when things just get to us. I would argue that any workplace could use such a room.
