Baseball history infographic

Here’s a fun infographic I found.  It is, by no means, a complete history of baseball, but it does touch on some interesting highlights.

that longest game back in 1984 was stretched out over two days. i remember watching them both. it was the white sox hostig my brewers and harold baines hit a home run in the 25th inning. that much i remember. i had to look up the sad luck pitcher. i thought it was chuck crim, but it was chuck porter or chuck “my bags please” porter as chris berman used to say. can you believe that fisk caught all 25 innings?

    • Twenty-five innings of catching is pretty intense. I can’t imagine squatting that long! I’m sure both sides slept pretty hard out of sheer exhaustion after that marathon.
