This is, obviously, an extremely simplified version of baseball history, geared towards a rather younger crowd. Still, I got enough of a smile out of it to merit a share.

That’s quite a range for a hot dog.

Indeed it is. I wonder if the $1 hot dogs are exclusive to dollar nights?
Cracker Jack. It’s Cracker Jack, not Crackerjacks. Two words, no “s.” Silly info graphic. Of all the typos in the world that drive me batty — and there are plenty — this, for some strange reason, is a big one. (And, perhaps I’ve corrected someone who sang “Cracker Jacks” instead of “Cracker Jack” during “Take Me Out To The Ballgame.” Perhaps.)
🙂
😀 You are correct, of course. Clearly, whoever created this graphic was not fortunate enough to have someone like you in their life.
Or, conversely, they are fortunate not to have someone like me who annoyingly micromanages every single word that they write!
All about perspective.
This infographic took me three hours to read, as I had to go the bullpen to bring in a LOOGY every time a left handed batter appeared.
😀
So who invented baseball?
That depends on who you ask, I suppose 😉
nice one! I have been to Doubleday field so I am familiar that there is a big debate on where it was invented.
I’m jealous! A visit to Doubleday Field would be fun, no matter where baseball was actually invented.
Maybe I’ll post a picture of it in your honor 😉 It’s a nice quaint town with a lake and about 50 baseball related stores. But my wife got tired of me bringing her there, lol
I look forward to seeing it! 🙂
Just put one up!
