Interestingly, according to Wikipedia, the story that Ruth’s sale funded ‘No, No, Nanette’ is actually a myth. I guess it was ‘My Lady Friends’ that benefitted directly from the sale: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No,_No,_Nanette
